Option to set ringtones for specific people is not available in the menu

Lots of questions regarding setting custom ringtones for contacts, but no definitive answers. Do not go to edit after selecting the relevant contact but select the three dot menu bottom right. This will open to a menu with a change ringtone/ringtone option.
