Galaxy S23Hey,
I have already made a similar post a year ago when I had my S22 and now the same story with S23.
Here is the scenario: My phone is connected to a Bluetooth headset. I initiate a call and have a conversation for some time and in the meantime the phone's screen times off as it should. After that, I hang up and go on with my life. Then later I wake up my phone and find that it doesn't ask for a pin or a fingerprint. This issue was present with S21, S22 and S23.
It seems that the phone remembers that I unlocked it to start a phone call but doesn't relock it when screen times out. If not using any Bluetooth headset during conversation, the phone will re-lock itself as designed and ask for a pin the next time I wake it up.
Smart lock is off. The issue didn't happen recently after an update, so it is ongoing for years. Restarting of the phone, won't help either.
This is a big security concern and still to this date there is no resolution. A year ago I tried to use "error reporting" feature to report this to Samsung, however it didn't get any traction...

Galaxy S23Alternatively when I use Samsung phone app after a conversation it does wake up the screen and then after the screen time's out it asks for a pin or fingerprint.
