Power button changed to Gemini

I configured the phone to power off when long press power button. Now, after recent software update, it changed and some Gemini thing shows up. Took me a long time to figure out how to set it back to power off. 

Not a pleasant experience!

No, just go to settings then advances features click on side key settings

If you are setting up a phone from scratch, this is how they come out of the box. People have just forgotten!

Because Google wanted them too. When I put Android 16 on my Pixel, it did the same thing.

You don't have to be tech savvy to put it back, just ask Google in a text search.

I know samsung and android have a bunch of stuff you just need to learn how they work i recomend you check out the TIPS app

Thank you. This worked and was really simple to do. My question is- why would Samsung do this? Beyond the obvious reason to market Gemini every way possible. As I know it, there is no other way to power off/on the phone. Sounds not well thought out on Samsung's part. The marketing folks over riding the engineering team.
