I have a s23 ultra. I am using the gallery camera app that comes with the phone.  I need to upload an image in-between 5-15 mb. When I take my images, they are smaller than 4mb.  How can I take an image that will be larger than 5mb?

Every picture you take is 5 MB? Do you want more storage to be taken? It's just the default size. I don't think you can change that.

@DaLu07 The photos are stored using JPEG which is an image compression format. Therefore they will generally be smaller than the MP of the camera sensor which captured it.

You say that you need to upload an image in-between 5-15 "my". Is this being requested by a web site or app?

Use Samsung Quick Share Link to send photos and video, uncompressed, up to 100MB.

Try changing to 50 MP from here and take a picture. Screenshot_20241126_213518_Camera_1000039905_1732678555.png
