S23 Ultra UI8 update phone keeps restarting

The update took over an hour and now my phone keeps restarting . I have spent hours trying to sort the issue including safe mode, cache clearing and spoken to Samsung who said to reset the phone.

Any help?

As a last resort i'll do a factory reset but can I save the images etc onto my pc first? It only comes on for around 20 seconds before turning off

Hi! Since your phone only stays on briefly, the safest way to save data is using Samsung Smart Switch in Recovery Download mode or connecting to a PC quickly while it’s on. Otherwise, a factory reset may be necessary, but it will erase all data.

You don't have to go into recovery mode to use Smartswitch all you have to do it install Smartswitch on a PC and then connect your phone and computer together with the USB C cable and select backup in Smartswitch on the PC

The issue is it's only on for 30 seconds then restarts. If there's a way I can back it up in a different mode then I'd be grateful for advice.

does it help? after reboot its UI7 or UI8? i have the same issue, before it restart, i quickly check its OS version, its still in UI7
