Galaxy S23Like the subject says, Verizon's visual voicemail will not work without allowing 'nearby devices' to access it. I am guessing this is a Verizon cluster and not Samsung because there's a separate nearby devices option (outside of the vm app). I am trying to confirm this before I waste more time with their tech support. Because this permission is wide open, no controls or prompts, its a big NFW for me.
Anybody get it to work without nearby devices? Thanks

Galaxy S23I bought a new S23 Ultra last week and just discovered the same issue. The phone won't allow me to access my voicemails unless I allow it scan, detect and access nearby devices. NEVER!
If I can't figure out a work around... I'll be returning the phone next week.

Galaxy S23Visual Voicemail is a carrier feature. Voicemail is controlled by your carrier. For your issue, Samsung's involvement is quite limited. For all of the issues in this tread, including not being able to delete old voicemails, you should all go to Verizon and let them know about the issues you are having.

Galaxy S23I contacted Verizon there blaming Samsung for visuel voicemail not working. I have been to the store(2 hrs) and 2 hrs on phone with Verizon support . They are blaming Samsung
