Got this phone brand new in Pakistan. Unfortunately it isn't covered by local warranty. It is a white 12/256 S23 Ultra (dual sim model 918B/DS).
The issue? My phone's flashlight has started flashing randomly after 2 months of use. No, its not the accessibility settings. The flashes are sometimes short, sometimes long (for minutes). They can be dim, like the light barely on, or bright. While it is flashing, if I turn on torch and increase brightness, the brightness of the flashing increases.
If I turn my phone off, and press the power button, flashlight comes on for a second. If I put my phone in recovery mode, flashlight is permanently on.
If the flashlight is on (randomly) while I'm using the phone, and I put music on spotify at max volume, the light sometimes flickers with the beat.
I've flashed the stock firmware (September one, and July one). Neither fixed it.
What is going on? If I take it to my local Samsung outlet, they'll say 'oh sir the motherboard needs replacing' so I'm currently looking for other options. There is nothing online about this, at all. Some old S6 threads mention a somewhat similar issue but nothing recent.
