Scrolling screenshot not working

I have a s23, and the scrolling screenshot feature stopped working 

When I take a screenshot and click on the scrolling screenshot button, the button grays out as if it was working, and then nothing happens on my screen.

I noticed this scrolling screenshot stopped working in the past two months. I tried using it on two different occasions and it did not work. I had to go on my computer instead. 

Anyone else notice this?

Edit: the day after posting this I tried doing a scrolling screenshot, and it worked. It also worked in different apps 2 days after posting. Problem seems to be solved

Did your phone update prior to not being able to do a scrolling screenshot? If so, did you clear your phone's cache afterward? If that didn't work, my next suggestion would be to boot into safe mode and try scrolling screenshot there, this way it will either confirm or eliminate that it is a malicious app. Kindly post the results after you've tried this.

I just tried doing a scrolling screenshot today, and it worked

I do not know if my phone had an update prior to not being able to do it. There's been an update every month, and I infrequently do scrolling screenshots

The next time this issue happens I will try to boot into safe mode and try there

1. Test in Samsung apps (Settings, Samsung Browser) to confirm it still works.
2. Update Samsung Capture from the Galaxy Store.
3. Clear cache/data of Samsung Capture.
4. Use Smart Select / Edge Panel as a workaround.

Scrolling screenshot is working today. I also tried in Samsung browser and it worked. I will try your suggestions the next time it does not work

They changed the way it works. You only have to tap the scroll button once and then scroll your page up, pause til the next pic is taken then scroll again til the each picture is snapped and the sequence ends then pause at the end. You used to have to tap the button for each segment.

This makes sense, but 2 days ago I noticed the old method started working again. Did samsung receive feedback like mines and reverse the new change?

I do not know. I only know it took me a few tries to figure out that there was a new method, which I actually like better.
