My phone is still sitting on June update. We are almost in August. Thought after all these years Samsung would push out updates quicker like iphone and google pixels

Which carrier do you use? My wife's Tmobile S23 Ultra got the 1 July Samsung update a week ago, the Google play system (also 1 July) 2 days ago. Hope you get them soon.

I have att but my phone is factory unlocked so came from Samsung

I don't know firsthand, but I've read many people's complaints about AT&T being really late with their updates. I would hope you SHOULD get them shortly though, right?

AT&T has been horrendous lately with updates. They are the new king, it used to be Verizon!

Maybe they finally resigned themselves to the fact that they can only win by losing (?) lol!

While you might have an unlocked phone purchased from Samsung, your updates however come from your carrier.
If you have access to a computer try using Smart Switch to look for an update.
