Sound Assist floating button customization?

I was wondering if the floating button on the sound assist can be changed? For example, a different color or a widget. And how is it done?

Yes it can. Open the sound assistant app - top of the list says "customize volume panel" click the toggle switch to "on" and now the rest is up to you on colors, what you want to see/hide, etc.

I was trying to to see whare the option to change the floating button is. I was wanting to change the button specifically, but seem to figure it out.
