Since Dec 25 update the sound has been muffled. Did all the so called fixes and even rest my phone. Anyone else having this issue?

Check in settings and sound and adjust system sounds might help

Muffled or muted?  On both speakers (media and phone)? Which  update did you get on  12/25?  OneUI8 or a security update?

Security could that have caused a glitch?

Not aware of monthly uodate causing sound issue i would run the diagnostic test

Anything can cause a glitch.  Asking again, is the sound muffled or muted?  Have you cleared the phone's cache after the update?  There could be some temporary files interfering with things. I have not had an issue with my sound after the update.
