Every so often, my phone decides I have tried too many times to login in, and stops me logging in for a while.  There should be a way to mitigate, or even switch off, this feature.

I did see a number of other people also have this problem.  My Galaxy S23 is brand new.  Accidental touch protection is on.  I would like to keep the fingerprint login option.

Redo your fingerprint.

But this error never occurs when I am trying to unlock it.  It usually occurs when it is in my **bleep** pocket.  Can redoing the fingerprint really fix this problem?

But I'll give it a go.

Try decreasing touch sensitivity. This may help.

That sounds like a smart idea.  I'll try it.

What kind of phone case are you using? Do you see this issue if you take off your phone case and put it in your pocket? I seen issues where phone cases that don't properly fit the phone would do accidental touches.

My case doesn't have a screen protector.

I am referring to the phone case itself not the screen protector
