Galaxy S23
I have an S23 Ultra that stopped connecting to android auto. When plugged into my car itll say the phone is charging for about one second before disappearing and it'll never connect. I tried multiple cords and multiple cars, all of which work fine with my wife's phone. It'll charge fine when plugged into the wall but I also found my phone doesn't recognize my corded ear buds at all. I just replaced my charging port with no change.

Do you mean that you have already had your USB-c port replaced? If so, by who?

Yes. The port was replaced by a local shop. It was a shot in the dark, but I've heard only positive reviews of them

Try this first, go to settings, apps and where it says your apps, tap on the 3 lines, turn on show system apps, type in the search box, USB, USB settings will be right there, open it, go to storage and clear the cache.
Go to the Playstore and look for an Update to Android Auto, if there is no update, press uniinstall , then update. You will now have a cleaner install.
Then perform a wipe cache partition.
Wipe Cache Partition.
Turn off phone.
While powered down, press power key and volume up button simultaneously until the phone vibrates. Let go of buttons. You will now be in the bootloader. Using Volume buttons for scrolling, power button for Yes.
Scroll down to Wipe Cache Partition. Press power, scroll to Yes, press power. Reboot press power key.
