Since updating to Android 14, UI 6, when I turn on my phone, I have to swipe the screen to 1st get to the keypad to unlock my phone with my combination.
What's up with that?

To anyone that has read my post above....
By accident I have found (at least for me) that instead of pressing the lock at the top of the screen when the phone is locked, if you tap it twice it will open the keyboard. You don't have to swipe before any other actions.

Thank you but it's new for me. Only started with the update. Prior, I would just have to press the lock at the top and it would go to the keyboard. That was easier because regardless of when, when I swipe, it takes multiple swipes to advance.
