Galaxy S231.) Why does it need to relearn usage patterns when I've had this phone for literal years? How is there not enough data to re-orient itself on its own? I'm extremely doubtful a tech company as wealthy as Samsung can't figure this one out. Same thing with clearing the cache. Why doesn't it do that on its own??
2.) My usage remains the same, but even that is hard to measure because the battery usage function is now inaccurate and useless. I spent 5 minutes on Reddit, but it recorded it as "less than 1 minute". Usually 2 minutes on Reddit is 0.2% battery usage or less. "Less than one minute" of Reddit use took 1.3% battery. Make it make sense!
Furthermore, if I add up all the percentages reported in the app usage, it doesn't add up to the actual amount of battery % I lost during that time. And the total % used is also now reported incorrectly as a result. I use this interface constantly because it makes documenting how much time I spend working much easier, as I use my phone for work. This ruins that.
3.) I did this. It's a slight improvement at best and that could easily be placebo effect because I haven't measured it yet.
Also, NONE of this fixes the phone charging way slower-- even when I'm not using it.
It's May. Where's the update? Because this one was forced onto my phone today, and I am NOT happy about a defective update not being fixed when they say it's going to be fixed. Just don't push the update or make it mandatory if it's not fixed! How hard is that?

Galaxy S23- the battery drains fast and the phone is now warmer than it used to be under light use.
- When I plug it into an utrafast charger (that has always worked before this One UI update) the phone says it is fast charging but isn't. My phone will only only fast/ultra-fast charge when it is completely powered down.

Galaxy S23For now, you can try clearing your system cache, which can help clean up any old temp files that could be contributing to your battery issues.
To wipe the system cache,
Turn off the device.
Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Side key.
When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear.
Press the Volume down key several times to highlight Wipe cache partition.
Press Side key to select.
Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Side key to select.
When the process is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
Press the Side key to restart the device.
Unlike a master reset, wiping the cache partition does not delete your personal data. Turn off the device. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power key. When the Android logo displays, release both keys. An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight the Wipe cache partition. Press the Power key to select. Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Power key to select. When the process is complete, the Reboot system now is highlighted. Press the Power key to restart the device
