When I film videos, sometimes there is a vibration - like I received a text message during the video. This shows up on the playback and it annoying. I have turned vibration feedback off on the camera, have stabilization off, and in fact turned off all system vibration setting and it still happens. It seems to happen more frequently when I move the phone around while filming. Any idea what's going on?

Ah I see. Unfortunately, this does appear to be a hardware malfunction then. The auto-stabilization on the camera isn't functioning properly. This could likely be easily repaired at a Samsung authorized service center, like uBreakiFix. Their diagnostics are free, so at least you would confirm the source of the problem.

Thanks for the reply. Is this something that could be repaired under warranty as I only bought it a couple months ago and I think it's a 1 year warranty.

Yes, absolutely. Just mention that this occurred out of nowhere and the camera had been working perfect before. Defect for sure.

Wow, I can't  believe Samsung is STILL having that issue with their cameras.

All the way back to the Galaxy note 3 I had this issue, but it was _much_ worse. I upgraded to the note 5 and it still had the issue, but it was different and not as bad, then the note 9, rarely happened but still did. Note 20 I don't recall it ever happening but it may have once. Now on the S22U and haven't experienced it, so I thought they finally fixed it. Turns out not on the S23, go figure.

No, there's nothing you can do about it, except maybe taking it to a Samsung verified story and having them replace the camera unit, which will cost money to do.

The lens is trying to adjust for the intense movement and not cause so much bouncing from the movement, but clearly yours is failing like mine has often back then.

Hopefully this brought some light to you and anyone else. Unfortunately there is no fix software-wise.

Thanks for the insight. Didn't have this issue on my Note20Ultra that I upgraded from.

If it's not fixable, I guess I'll upgrade next cycle and hope for better luck.
