Following the latest One Ui 5.1 update in August, my phone's video function has been doing a vibration-like, shaking, not focusing type action. This phone is practically brand new, following my not-so-old S22 that suddenly stopped connecting to cell towers. Anyone have this issue? (Samsung S23 Ultra)

Yes, I've done a restart. Yes, I've opened setting in the camera app and reset camera settings. Neither helped.

Have you already run the Camera related diagnostics in the Samsung Members app's Support tab? Do they all pass? If so, try this. Settings>Apps>Camera>Storage>Clear cache. Clear data if this doesn't work. This will effectively reset the Camera app. If this also doesn't fix the problem, or you've already tried it, kindly power off the device. Press + hold power and volume up buttons until the Samsung logo disappears. Using volume keys highlight, Repair apps and then power to select and confirm if necessary. This will reindex all your apps and hopefully resolve the camera issue.

I am having the same issue as the OP. Nothing you suggested helped. The app is up to date, the phone is up to date, the phone was received yesterday in the mail and it was activated today. Went to use the camera and its all shaky...like the screen is vibrating. Its even worse if I switch to taking a video vs. a photo. What can I do to fix this? ATT told me the phone is most likely defective.

I am having the same issue. I just got the phone in the mail yesterday, activated it today. Went to try the camera and the image is shaking back and forth. I opened FB and went to take a photo and it doing the same thing. I followed all the things they say to do to try and get the camera to work correctly and nothing helps. I called an ATT store and they told me the phone is most likely faulty and to send it back.

Did you ever get your issue resolved?

Not really. Once I changed the video setting to 60UHD it seemed to behave better. I even got a single video or two that looked great! But then it went back to being shaky. I think it's even starting to affect my camera now. I'm beyond unhappy with it all.

That sucks. Hopefully you can get the phone looked at under warranty or even given a replacement. I am having to ship mine back to my cell carrier. Since it's within the 14 day return window.
