Write on Calendar Day/Week?

So a little background -  I just upgraded from the Note 10+ to the S23 Ultra and I love the experience so far. My primary reason to getting either phone was the S-pen; I'm a writer, so I tend to write a lot.

One of the things I really liked was the ability to write on the calendar. However, on the Note 10+ I stopped really using it because I liked Google's calendar better (especially when handling 3 different accounts). This time, I would really like to use more of Samsung's features and I remembered WoC.

While being able to write on the calendar is great, I'm running into an issue. So far, I can only write in the monthly view. Okay, that's fine. HOWEVER, here are my problems:

I don't view calendars in the monthly view. I view them on a weekly or daily basis

When I DO write something on the monthly view, I can't see it when switching to weekly or daily view. This kinda defeats the point.

I also can't WoC when in daily or weekly view

Is there something I'm missing here? Or does Samsung still believe people only view calendars in a monthly view like primitives (joking, sort of)?

The reason, or one reason I'm sure, I ended up going back to Google Calendar was BECAUSE I could see my day or week for ALL of my accounts in a quick and easy way to view & add. Is there no way for that to be done with Samsung's calendar?

Hey Scooby66! 👋
Question?? I LIVE from my phone! The Calendar is an essential part of my daily living and routine!! 💜❤️ I didn't know that you could actually write (with the S-Pen?) on either one! 😳 OR ... Do you mean TYPING in notes to Customize Appointments, To Do's, and such?
Also, What is WoC?
Looking forward to your reply 😀!

Hey hey!

Yep, you can write on calendar (WoC, cause I didn't want to continually type 'write on calendar' every time lol) if - to my knowledge - you have one of the Note series (from the Note 8 to the 20?) and obviously, the new S-series of phones that come with a S-Pen.

This of course is ONLY for the use of the Samsung calendar (does not work on any other calendar).

Again, I like it, but it would be FAR MORE HELPFUL if I could do it on a date and it shows across monthly, weekly, daily. That's the issue I'm having.

Also need the ability to sync to other devices. If I write on my phone, I should see that writing on my tablet

Agreed. I honestly don't understand how some apps that are Samsung phones are not available on other Samsung devices. I have the Galaxy Chromebook 2 and I can't even Samsung Notes or the calendar on a touch screen device that allows for pen input that's made from Samsung.

Also, have yet to get an answer to my initial question.

I don't know why Samsung has it set up that way, maybe it's just meant to be a scribble feature like you would use an old school calendar for. I just wanted to say I JUST FOUND OUT you can pinch to zoom and write easier on each calendar day when in WoC mode. I never knew that. I've had every note since the note 2 and felt the need to share. Hopefully you get a response!
