Galaxy S23There is no direct shutdown option. This is by design and as much for protection against accidental shutdowns (see all the posts about pocket activations of a side button action, and you will understand), as it is because there are other shutdown/restart options one can access from the shutdown menu. You can, however, use Bixby to tell it to turn off the phone.

Galaxy S23Oh, you really did not phrase it that way. It sounded like you did not want to have to press a button to press another button to shut down the phone. Besides the shutdown button being remapped to actually be a shutdown button, you can also force reboot your phone, if that's what you are looking for by pressing and holding the side button and volume down button simultaneously.
