Everytime my s23+ dies (which is often because the battery doesn't last long anymore) it completely loses signal. I have no bars and no data either; I've only been able to get by on my house wifi and the free wifi I find when I go outside.

No matter how many times I restart the phone, it still fails to get signal. I can't receive or send calls and messages unless it's through messaging apps or wifi-calling, and phone has messages pop up saying "Device won't automatically connect to wifi at this time" and "Your phone's not registered to a network."

The phone also restarts itself to get signal but it hasn't been connecting, I'll try going to my service provider but is there anything I can do??

I've been having the same issue with my Samsung A71 5g phone 716u. I've reset the network and changed out the SIM card. I can't text anyone. I can only call using wifi calling and message people thru Messenger. This has been going on for 2 weeks. Seems to be affecting only Android devices according to a Best Buy employee.

I did the same thing, reset the network and sim but nothing worked! I went to my service provider and they said my phone was defective and that they couldn't do anything about it, I don't have insurance on it and the Samsung warranty is past it's date so they didn't want to help me whatsoever and they said have to wait until I've finished paying it off to get a new one.

Same here. You can try deleting cashe partition or soft reset.
I went to connections and turned the Sim card off for a few hours and it got better. Not sure if it was a coincidence.

Just tried doing those, even reset my network and sim card but nothing has worked and my service provider has been useless. They said my phone was defective and that they couldn't do anything about it because I don't have insurance on it and it's past the Samsung warranty date. I've never broken it or dropped it, it's practically brand new. Gonna go back and fight them later

I wouldn't bother. It's not their fault or anything they can do. The new update is causing the phone to lose signal. They said they are aware of it and are working on it.

Have you reset mobile network settings? It's under settings, general management, reset.

Also, clear device cache if you didn't do so after the update:

1) Turn off your device.

[Your device may need to be connected to a powered USB device (ex: computer) before proceeding to the next step.]

2) Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Side/Power button until you feel a vibration and the Samsung logo appears. Let go of the buttons.

3) You will now be in Android recovery. Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Wipe cache partition."

4) Press the Side/Power button to execute.

5) Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Yes."

6) Press the Side/Power button to execute.

7) "Reboot system now" will already be highlighted. Press the Side/Power button to execute.
