Can the photo app be set to take pictures in .webp format? This would be useful for my website and blog.

You will have to plug it in to your C computer, and then rename the file extension form .jpeg (or .ipg) to .webp.

I use PaintShop Pro to batch process the change of the file extensions to webp. But, it would be nice not to have to do this.

Hmm. Use an online converter. Eg Convert.io
