Galaxy S24
Since the last update (6.1), my camera has stopped working. Every time I click on the app, it says "camera failed". I have tried clearing the cache. Samsung doesn't know what to do and wants me to drive 120 miles to have the phone fixed. Also, the flashlight will not work; it says it is being used by another app, but if I open Instagram, then the front-facing camera will workāthat's it. It makes no sense.any help would be nice

Have you run a diagnostic on the camera? Diagnostics can be found in the device care settings. Have you rebooted the phone in safe mode to see if you get the same behavior? Have you tried a factory reset? Factory resetting gives you a clean operating system. You can then restore your backup. Unless another app is interfering (which will be determined in safe mode), it is unlikely that whatever is causing the issue will be contained in the backup (as long as the camera itself is not defective).

Galaxy S24After the 7.0 update I get the same thing. Worked fine before hand. Safe mode it still comes up "camera has stopped working." Diagnostics is saying the camera is not working. Worked fine until 7.0 update.
