After receiving the UI 7.0 update my Bluetooth headset connects for YouTube videos and other videos but when I get a phone call it will not connect. It only connects once I restart the phone and make a couple of phone calls and then it disconnects and doesn't work from there on. When I get a phone call the ringtone does not transfer to my headset either. I've tried unpairing and repairing multiple times and this happens with the Samsung headset as well as an aftermarket headset. Even when I try to transfer the voice call to my Ultra watch it does not have any sound. These were working perfectly fine before the update.

My calendar widget won't open when I press on it. I have to press on the month for the whole calendar to open then I can look at each individual events.

Adding or unpairing new Bluetooth devices is a very slow process. All the processes seem to have slowed down with this new update.

Sometimes double clicking on the lock screen would not release it to put in my pattern to unlock and I actually have to press the side button and then double tap on the lock screen to get to the unlocking pattern.

This update is very annoying and messing up the S24 Ultra! Samsung please take a look to fix these issues. I'm sure a lot of other S24 devices will also run into them!

Have you cleared device cache?

1) Turn off your device.

2) Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Side/Power button until you feel a vibration and the Samsung logo appears. Let go of the buttons.

3) You will now be in Android recovery. Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Wipe cache partition."

4) Press the Side/Power button to execute.

5) Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Yes."

6) Press the Side/Power button to execute.

7) "Reboot system now" will already be highlighted. Press the Side/Power button to execute.

Thank you for the help but I've done that like five times already and it only seems to help right after I start up the phone again. But after a few phone calls the Bluetooth voice drops off. Funny thing is YouTube video still stream through the headset it's only the voice calls that are having issues. Can't seem to fix this issue.

Have you reset WiFi & BT settings?
Settings, general management, reset.

Oh betcha! I've done all the most common troubleshooting methods I can find and I even went into the advanced developer options to look at some of these settings. Toggle around with different Bluetooth variables for each settings and nothing seems to fix the voice call issues on Bluetooth headsets or watch. Like I said it's not a device issue it's more of a software issue. And I pinpoint it down to only voice calls are affected. All other apps are compatible with the headset, YouTube, Netflix, Facebook, Instagram, etc. also I noticed when I try to unpair the devices it takes forever to unpair them and then when I try to repair it it takes forever to repair as well. There is a super lag in the system clearing the cache.

Have you tried safe mode? That can help you narrow down whether it's a third-party app causing a conflict.

Deep within the Bluetooth program, I think it's having an issue of transferring sound from media to voice calls.

Normally I can connect any headset but after this update I can still connect the headset and still hear YouTube and other videos but phone calls do not work. You cannot hear people talking on the other line.
