Cannot complete the UI 8 Start-up wizard

Hi, after updating to UI 8 my phone is now stuck in the start-up wizard after clicking next on the AI features (page 1).

I suspect that my VPN client app is blocking a connection, because if I connect a keyboard and hit Ctrl+a I can see 'Web page not available' which I could not see before because its in black (like the background)!

Is there any way to skip the wizard, or access my notifications/quick-settings so that I can turn the VPN off?

This is a crazy situation that the Dev's clearly did not consider :o(

Issue resolve!

After creating this thread I discovered the device has a 'Safe Mode'. I was able to complete the start-up wizard in safe mode and progress :o> Madness

Safe-mode worked for me, because it disables my VPN Pro app. IDK how you connect, or how your VPN settings are managed mate, but check how your VPN app starts with the device and if not only to eliminate things--turn off auto-start-ups Verify your connection too.

I have the same issue. And when I turn on the Safe Mode, it keeps happening. What do I do?
