I think Samsung needs to do a better job on their do not disturb.
It's just annoying that they keep upgrading phones and not work on the simplest things that matters.
One thing that made me started using iPhone is SIMPLY because of their DND.
I love it that unnecessary calls won't disturb me unless I added it to favorite.
But after using different Samsung phones, the experience is still the same, anybody can just call and it'll still enter, and the person will know you ignored them.
Why can't they copy the way iPhone did their own DND instead of just upgrading phones anyhow.
I just bought my Samsung S24 Ultra last week, and because of DND I had to go buy iPhone 13 pro max yesterday.
Eventually, I'll so much dislike Samsung if they don't improve on the things necessary.
I've never had a problem of it ringing thru on dnd unless it's people with permission. Check the settings, I noticed a setting to block or let someone who calls back-to-back through. I block that & one item I've never had a problem with. I have a problem of it turning off my sound on dnd or after reboot & not turning it back on
Why can't a message be given so callers don't think you're just ignoring them? Heaven forbid should we be sleeping, bathing, cooking, eating, watching a movie, reading, unable to hear because of lawnmower, clothes or hair dryers? Folks today couldn't handle how phones were when i was growing up. ONE PHONE in the middle of the house. No answering machines much less voicemail. And we didn't get angry if no one answered our calls. And people didn't get angry over it either. I've been blocked and by so called friends and have them stop talking to me because i didn't answer. One because it took me 8 **bleep**g minutes to call them back.
