The new pill icon SUCKS. Can barely read the percentage left. Change it back! Or give us the option.

Just another case to change something for the sake of change, without any thought or polling to see if it is liked. I bet no one thinks it's better than precious bar with percentage next to it.

Need to have it in stupid pill form for some reason cause it's "cool"? Fine. But don't put the number inside of it that is barely visible in the greyed out area.

If you download Goodlock from the Galaxy Store, then the module HomeUp you can more granular controls of your home screen. You can set it to 5x5 if you want to.

The rounded corners of widgets I can't help you with.

The battery pill is awful!
It is so bad that I turned it off on my status bar and added a battery widget to my home and lock screen.

I find it much harder to read the battery percentage inside the new icon, especially around 40-60% where the indicator line interferes with the numbers.

You're not alone. Many people are not fans of the new battery pill.

That would be nice. The more I have to look at it, the more I dislike it.

Long press on the home screen and select widgets. You can choose a battery widget configuration.

I feel the same. I don't even look at the icon anymore, I use the battery widget to check my battery level. I hope Samsung changes it back to the way it was before. It was much easier to see. I don't really want to wait for One UI 8.
