I have no issue with the clipboard edge panel - no visual glitches when deleting an item either individually or by clicking "delete all". Pinned items remain at the top of the list and everything else populates below them. It's good to clear the clipboard every now and then anyway because there's a lot of stuff you don't need to keep forever. The edge panel clipboard is an extension of the Samsung keyboard clipboard, as everything on the edge panel will show in the Samsung keyboard clipboard (try it). You could never edit any clipboard text, you can only copy and paste, although you can edit the text once pasted. I doubt there will ever be any categorical sections on the edge panel, as clipboards are not organizers.
No flashing here. All my pinned items also get pushed to the bottom as more stuff gets added to the clipboard. I just use the "clear" button when it gets to be too much.
If you'd like to submit a feature request to developers, use the "send feedback" option on the Support tab of the Members app. Use the "others" category and tag the submission as "feature request."
