Hello, after updating my Galaxy S24 (model SM-S921U from T-Mobile) to One UI 8, the Expert RAW app (version 5.0.02.17) stopped working. The issue is that the app does not open at all. When I try to launch it, nothing happens. I already tried clearing cache, clearing data, and reinstalling the app from the Galaxy Store, but the problem remains. Please check this issue or release a compatible update for One UI 8. Thank you.
You should look in the app store to see who makes the Expert RAW app and see if there is a customer service email in the description or in the comments so you can send this message to them. The OS expects the app developers to cater to their changes, not the other way around, so unless Samsung is the maker of your app, posting here won't help. The app maker will have to update their app to be compatible with OUI 8. Copy and paste your post here into a review for the app on the Google Play store. If you installed it from the Samsung store, try installing it from the Google Play store since updates come faster there. They may reply with a status update on when they'll have a new compatible release comjng, or a way to contact their tech support. If they fix the problem, be sure to go back and update your review.
Just an update to the One UI to implement any security patches that Google puts out takes a month to show up. So I wouldn't be surprised if the Expert RAW programmers might take a while to catch up.
