So, am I the only one who does not like the way the gallery is presented within the text message app? When I upgraded to the S24 I was NOT expecting so much displeasure. The way my gallery looks when I open it from the app is the way it used to look on my S22 and how I expected it to look when I go to the gallery within the text messages.
Half of my gallery folders do not appear
I have to go thru Google storage or One Drive to retrieve my gallery
Why does my camera folder and picture folder have TWO folders within ONE folder?
All my photos are out of date older
I tried to consolidate the folders using my laptop and it is a horrible process
And who told someone to take away the option of having external storage (SD cards)? I loved having the option to move photos and apps to the SD card to save memory and storage on my internal storage.
Might I suggest the next time Samsung decides to make such drastic changes such as these to consult with the users FIRST. These updates over the past year are not conducive to some of us users.
I have a two-step workaround for you to use when you're in the messaging app and you want to get to your gallery. You are in your message, click on the "plus circle" , then click on "files", near the top you should see "browse files in other apps" which should contain the "gallery app" for you.
