Galaxy S24

Hi,

I am using Galaxy S24 Ultra. After the One UI version 7.0 update, all my samsung apps have also been automatically updated.

I am facing a peculiar issue. When I go to the Gallery Search page and look at "People" (it has now beem renamed "People and pets" I find that all my "People" suggestions are no longer visible and I have only one pet image visible.

Keep in mind that before the update I had at least a couple hundred suggestions under "People" and I could click on any one of them and all the images of that person in my gallery would show up. This made it very easy. Also, please note that I am not saying that the images have been deleted from their respective albums in Gallery it is just that the Gallery  PeopleSearch function does not seem to be working after this update.

I have tried clearing cache, restarting my phone and speaking with Samsung customer support. But no luck so far. Please help!

I've noticed that too in my gallery, I have all these pictures of random people. I was thinking I don't know them.

Typo in my subject line!

It should read as

Gallery "People" search function NOT working!

I guess we are talking about different things!

Hi, this is also happening to me on S24U after the update to OneUI 7.

Now I have a category called "People and pets" were only a few pet photos show up and no people at all. Before the upgrade I had everyone identified in there.

Already tried to clear the cache of the gallery app but still no change. I'm not sure how to get that feature back, unsure how it even got removed in the first place.
