Whenever I google a location and press on directions it doesn't let me press start.

I am currently using Waze as my preferred navigation app. I find it quite satisfactory as it provides valuable information such as if there are cops or potential traffic issues, and it efficiently calculates the fastest route to my destination.

Can you uninstall and then reinstall? That's what i would do. That's a bit strange.

Try to clear app cache and data. Basically does the same thing as uninstalling but without actually uninstalling
