Anyone else having trouble sending messages? I have RCS chats on but it keeps switching to SMS/MMS to be able to sent the message

Does anyone have messages dropping into their calendar showing I have purchased something and they are charging my pp or cc? They dont, of course, but how do they even get into my calendar? I have a Samsung S23Plus.

I guess it's just me. I already turned off and back on RCS hoping it would somehow reset but that didnt work. It doesn't matter who I text, it keeps saying "Recipient may be offline."

You should present this problem to your carrier, they are responsible for your texting functionality.

This sounds like an unstable connection concern. RCS requires a steady Wi-Fi or mobile data connection. If your signal drops even slightly, the app may fall back to SMS to ensure the message is sent. I think what Neilth, mentioned, could be the best option. The carrier would be able to provide better insight into why it is not staying connected to RCS messaging.
