Thatโ€™s strange, Iโ€™ve seen several people having update issues lately where the phone says the software is up to date even when newer One UI versions are already available ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ“ฑ Maybe it depends on the carrier, region, or Samsung rolling out the update slowly. Hopefully you get it soon ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

1. Update via PC (Smart Switch)The fastest way to bypass an over-the-air (OTA) update delay is by plugging your phone into a computer.Download and install Samsung's official Smart Switch app on your PC or Mac.Connect your Galaxy phone with a USB cable. If the One UI 8.5 update is available for your specific model and region, the app will immediately detect it and allow you to install it.2. Check Phased Rollout SchedulesSamsung releases updates in waves to monitor for bugs.Depending on your region, carrier (e.g., AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile), and exact device model, it can take days or weeks for the update to reach your device.Check online communities like Reddit's OneUI to see if users with your exact carrier or device have started receiving the update.3. Clear the Update CacheSometimes your phone's updater app gets confused and incorrectly thinks you are up to date.Go to Settings > Apps.Tap the filter icon and turn on Show system apps.Search for Software Update or FOTA, tap it, and select Storage.Tap Clear Cache and Clear Data, then restart your phone and check for updates again.4. Remove the SIM Card (Carrier Check)If your phone was purchased through a specific carrier, they might be holding the update. Turn off your phone, pop out your SIM card, turn the phone back on (using Wi-Fi), and check for updates. Sometimes doing this forces the phone to pull directly from Samsung's servers rather than your carrier's update queue.

The update rollout cycle has not yet ended.  It may be that it's just not your turn to get it.  Your carrier distributes the updates, and they have their own roll out cycle and order that it goes in.  Even if they are up to your model, they may not yet be up to *you*.  For instance, a relative of mine has the same exact phone and model as I do.  We are both on the same carrier.  They have the update and I do not.  The only difference is that their phone was originally carrier locked and still carries the provider's firmware and mine is factory unlocked.  Carriers tend to distribute to their firmware first and factory unlocked models usually wait until later.  I am not sure if factory unlocked phones get their updates directly from Samsung, or from the carrier as well, but even if it comes directly from Samsung, they have a rollout schedule by model, as well.  It's been my understanding that the newest models get the update first, then on to the older models.

You can try, as was stated in an earlier response, using the Smart Switch option (assuming you have a computer, as it can only be done by computer), to force the update.

I've got the same issue. Most likely an AT&T Carrier lock.

They probably have not pushed the update for your region or carrier. Be patient it will happen. If you have any doubts you can check your settings. Go to settings--> About phone--> and Select software information. That will tell you all about your phones Firmware, android, and One UI versions as well as security information. Just because one version of your phone has received the update doesn't mean all versions have. First it's up to Samsung to decide what regions get the update, then the carriers decide when their version is ready to go out via OTA.
