I will never buy another Samsung device until Blue Tooth audio is fixed

Ever since UI8 update on my S24, the blue tooth audio no longer automatically connects to my car or any other audio device. I have to manually connect the phone to the audio device every time I want to use it. And, in the car, if I switch over to the AM station prescribed by the state to listen to alerts and then want to switch back to blue tooth audio, I have to reconnect manually. This is a safety hazard while driving, and working with your cell phone while driving in some states is illegal and levy's a  healthy fine if caught, even by a roadway camera. I've complained online in Samsung forums, I've left message after message in Samsung support forums only to be told that it's not the phones problem and that it must be my car and other devices. I guess that's why 100's of other people are having the same and worse blue tooth audio problems since the UI8 update. They must all be trying to connect to my [faulty] equipment. Let's get real Samsung...you broke the blue tooth audio feature with UI8! Fest up to it and fix it! If this problem does not get fixed I can assure you that when it's time for a new phone, it will not be a Samsung. And if people ask me if I recommend a Samsung I will be telling them the issues that me and 100's of other people are having. Word of mouth travels fast Samsung. Fix this problem! It is a problem YOU created and it's a problem that YOU can fix if you really want to. But I get the feeling that, for some reason you don't want to fix it. Well...you lose!

🤔 On my s24 on 1ui8, Bluetooth connects fine to everything I've noticed. Noticed you mostly mention your car. In my experience, cars usually use the absolute lowest Bluetooth protocol they can or the drivers they use are trash to begin with... Both of which makes troubleshooting a pain.

I'm not saying your car is at fault. I am saying that it's possible that both your phone and car could be at fault.

I mention my car because it's the most inconvenient device. I had a phone with UI7 that worked great one day and the next day after UI8 it doesn't work. I understand updates can break things, but when literally 100s of other people are having the same issue, something is wrong. But what really gets me is how Samsung is telling me and everyone else having this issue that it's our equipment, equipment that worked great less than 24 hours prior to UI8. And I have tried a lot of ways to fix it from simply deleting the pair and repairing, to changing Bluetooth versions. Nothing fixes it. Read some of the posts on Samsung user boards. There are literally 100s of users having this issue since UI8 and all we get from Samsung is it's your fault.

Update your carplay software.
Open menu and click update which is usually via a wifi connection.

I have an older car and do not have that option. That why I went into advanced settings and tried lowering the Bluetooth version.

Have you tried to use advanced Ai.
It usually has a quicker solution than Samsungs website.
Also contact the car dealer and ask if they have bluetooth adapter for newer phones bluetooth versions.

Good for you. I hope you never have an issue that you have to deal with Samsung. The worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. They don't fix it, they just turn around and blame the user, who, less than 24 hours before the roll out of UI8, everything was working perfectly.

I have the same issues as you do.  So frustrating!!

We are in 2026.  Robots operate on humans but 2 devices cannot connect through Bluetooth  💩

You may have to go into your settings and reset wireless. I don't have this issue (albeit, I have a z flip6), but others don't have the issue neither.
