Galaxy S24I am experiencing an issue with the Chat Assist feature on my S24 Ultra. It was working fine initially, but recently the text has stopped displaying. While the feature itself still functions (e.g., translations and tone adjustments work), I can no longer see button labels or text previews, making it difficult to use.
Step I have already tried:
- Checked and enabled Android Personalization Service
- Verified Chat Assist settings. Ensuring translation, tone adjustment, and grammar suggestions are enabled
- Restarted my device
- Checked for software update: Running One UI version 6.1
- Reset App Preferences
Despite trying all these steps, the issue still persists.

Galaxy S24Hello Members_eLDjoF3, welcome to the Samsung Community! I understand your frustration with your Chat Assist feature not working properly. I see where you have completed some troubleshooting steps. Have you tried wiping the cache partition on your device? To do so power your device off, hold the power and volume up buttons together at the same time, when the Samsung Logo appear release the power button, a menu will appear, use the volume up/down button and power button to select wipe cache partition. Once completed reboot device. If the Chat Assist is still not working properly try factory data resetting your device. Please be sure to back up your device before performing the reset: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002030/
If you are still experiencing issues after reset we recommend submitting an error report by going to the Samsung Members app > Get help > Send feedback > Error reports.
