Have a Samsung Galaxy s24 1 TB I bought it directly from Samsung and until I updated it was perfectly happy.
This new update is terrible I want the app screen to go back to side to side and Pages rather than scrolling up and down. But the most frustrating thing is the inability to search for locations, specific items, or text verbiage in the photo gallery search.
If it ain't broke don't fix it ,the search feature on the gallery WAS perfect and now it is not working at all.
I can't search specific addresses for my photos, I can't search for specific items in my photos.
And going back full circle to the app screen I like having them swiping right to left instead of in an up and down fashion they should be able to give you a choice it would be better if it gave you a choice for the new scrolling vertically if you'd like , but give you the option to scroll horizontally.
I am frustrated and pretty peeved off I swear I'm going to go bring my old phone back into use and never update it .
@Samsung you need to fix this please ,and I know I'm not alone because I've heard it on other social media platforms that the update was terrible I should have never updated it I wish I could go back to the old one.
Well thank you very much that's very informative and I will email them that is very useful as well thank you thank you, I don't know if anybody else has any resolutions for the search not working but for sure this has to be one of the most frustrating things I use it a lot with geotagged photos and it's just totally trash now thanks again for the link and the suggestion about me emailing someone who actually may at least register a complaint or a frustration vote right
Yes the change in search for the gallery is killing me! Even if you use the map to find the location of the pictures it still only brings up the most recent and not all photos taken at that location.
