Map of world appears on screen when locked / unlocked / in use

Following the installation of the One UI version 7.0 on 1 May 2025, my Samsung S24 Ultra has been experiencing a glitch where a map of the world randomly appears over apps when in use, even when the phone is not in use and locked, the screen will light up by itself - if I notice this and unlock it, the map will be displayed on the screen upon unlocking the phone. The map will then pinpoint my location if left open for a few seconds. The map screen can easily be escaped by pressing the back button and the previous screen will immediately re-appear. The map interactive and there are no apps that have this kind of map. Please help me figure out how to stop this map appearing.

That Map is for the Weather App.

Thank you. I have turned off notification permissions for the weather app. Hopefully that works :). Appreciate the info!

Turning off notifications in the settings for this app did not solve the issue. I have now disabled the app and I am hoping that works. If the weather app stops displaying over the screen at random now, I will mark this as the solution.
