Looks like there's no easy way to turn multiple "Motion Photos" into longer videos like you can on the "non-android" competitor.
My girlfriend and I recently went on a trip to Hawaii and took lots of pictures. On her phone, she was very easily able to make a video of the trip from all her live photos in 2 seconds. I would need to spend 2 hours to do the same thing. I think this would be a great feature especially with AI
I haven't been able to even find a good alternative with third party apps. It should be as simple as selecting multiple photos that contain "motion photo files" and pressing a button that would group all their video files into a "movie" that can be further edited later. Or at least, provide the ability to export all of them as videos files "in mass" so I can then group them as a movie. Instead, I have to go into each photo one by one, and save the video file. Which is very time consuming. And then take all the videos and group. Other phones make it really easy to get good video content for social media. Imagine how easy creating video content for social media apps would be.
As Samsung focuses intensely on improving the camera and the video capabilities, this could be a really easy marketable feature to attract more users to convert to samsung! Especially the younger generation who loves/prioritizes video content.
Thanks @LongHiker , but that just makes a slide show of the photos, it doesn't have an option to use the video files from the photos. You have to get the video files from each photo one by one and then combine them to a movie. 🤷
