I just read a posting that one ui7 isn't coming to samsung phones until the middle of April. I think I'm trading for an iPhone. They seem to have their updates out when they say they will.

Feels like they are forcing you to buy the latest phone in order to get a reasonable os update

The fact that you are bent out of shape for lack of a phone update says otherwise. There are so many, many, many more important things to be perturbed about.

I'm not bent out of shape. I have an electrical degree with robotics. I have some idea about how this is done. You pay 1200 bucks for a phone and as a consumer you expect the best. They just want to sell the s25. Also I did call samsung and she had no idea when it was coming out. I'm not perturbed either. It's my choice I will just switch phone manufacturers. One thing you forget the longer there are no updates the greater chance someone may figure out a way to get through. Why do you think they update the apps so often. Plug holes.

Apple isn't much better. They will release and update and it'll have maybe 10% of the functionality they promised originally... or none. Siri 2.0 is still nowhere to be seen and was reportedly coming with 18.4 but they again pushed it back. I'm on Pixel, and at least Google does regular releases without really promising amazing new functionality that they then can't deliver.
