Not able to extract text directly when opened photos through apps - whatsapp

I am able to extract text from photos when opened in gallery of samsung s24 ultra but this feature doesn't work when I open the photos inside an app like - slack, whatsapp etc. One thing to note is that this is not a 3rd party app issue as I am able to easily do the same thing on an I-phone 15. How to extract text from photos opened on apps without the need to use gallery on samsung s24 ultra?

You would need to contact the app developers, you can't do it because the developers haven't added it to the android app.

@bugsolver I'm pretty sure that this is a feature provided by the Android OS. So there are some possibilities.

• Android doesn't make this service available to other 3rd party apps. 
• Android makes the service available but the 3rd party apps haven't implemented it in their code.
