Galaxy S24
Why are there some pre-installed or system applications that won't allow me to turn on app notifications, clear cache, block location access, or change anything within the app at all? How do I know if these system apps are safe or they are installed malware and my phone and data have been compromised??

System apps are easy to find by name if versed in the phone workings as for other apps often a game or bank app for example i.e bloatware get added those you should be able to uninstall

How do you differentiate between the ones that are supposed to be there, that aren't, and bloatware?

Apps that don't send notifications have notifications blocked. This goes for Samsung and non Sansung apps.
