Galaxy S24
Recently I noticed my storage available amount had decreased by almost 100 GB. When searching system apps there are more than 50 with 0 bytes.
I've used the Volume up/Side button after full power off and cleared the system cache. Negative results. Should I do a Firmware Reflash or give up on this one and get an upgrade?
Galaxy S24+. Android 16.
UPDATE- 2/25/2026
Somehow this problem has corrected and original (Exact Amount) storage has been restored although 0 byte files still exist, Force Stopped or Disabled.

Thanks to those who responded.

I would've gotten the upgrade and wouldn't have updated my software

I would recommend trying the Firmware reflash before giving up. The 50+ system apps showing 0 bytes often occur when the system fails to map their actual size after a cache corruption.

Yeah. I went to the Spectrum store today. Gonna have the new S26+ ordered on the 15th and receive by FedEx the 18th. Nobody has anymore 25s because the 26 is coming out.
Thanks for the response and advice.
Already in the works.
Have a blessed week.
