Galaxy S24
Hi, S24 Ultra user here with the latest One UI 7 build on an unlocked US phone.
I know plenty of us have seen the problem with the GPS location icon always being on. In my case, I saw it was always being used by Home. Sure enough, disabling presence sensing in the Google Home app fixed the problem, icon gone and battery life back to normal.. but of course that means none of my routines work anymore (turn off heater and turn on camera when leaving home, etc). This must be a One UI 7 related bug because it all worked fine in the earlier beta builds. It broke with the last beta and is still broken. Factory reset doesn't fix it.
I'd like other people to share their findings to investigate this. Is it also caused by Google Home for others?

I noticed while away from home that this wasn't happening. Turns out this is related to WiFi it seems!
When I turn WiFi off, the location icon and usage stops after several seconds. As soon as I turn WiFi back on, so does location immediately.
I tried turning off intelligent wifi, location accuracy, and WiFi and Bluetooth scanning, but it doesn't help.
This HAS to be a bug and why is Samsung not addressing this??

I don't know which one is location. It seems like it would be obvious maybe it's not on mine and my Wi-Fi is on. I just know everything I've tried so far sucks
