Phone constantly checking for updates when opening apps or searching

Anyone experiencing phone constantly checking for updates every time you want to search for something on your search engine or opening apps?

Hello all, thanks for reaching out about constant update checks. What are the update(s) for (i.e. that specific app(s), the phone software itself)? Go ahead and try clearing the device's cache partition, which can help improve device behavior: 
 - Power off your device.
 - While the device is powered off, simultaneously press and hold the power and volume up buttons. 
 - Once the Samsung logo appears, release both buttons. Your device should boot into recovery mode. 
 
 Using the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select: 
 
 - Navigate to "wipe cache partition" and press power. 
 - Select yes to confirm. 
 - Navigate down to "Repair apps" and press power. 

If it is still checking for updates, check for updates to your phone as well: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077582/

This could also be the result of a third-party application. You can check this with the Safe Mode guide: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/

If the behavior continues in Safe Mode, it may be time to try a factory reset. Follow the guide carefully, and back up everything you can prior: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

Should the factory reset not be effective, you can submit an error report via Samsung Members app: https://www.samsung.com/ae/support/mobile-devices/raising-an-error-report-via-samsung-members-app/

In addition, should the troubleshooting fail, the phone should be evaluated by a certified technician, potentially for a software reflash. I have one app doing that. It started on my s23u in december.

Didn't happen on my s10e but I see this pretty often after switching to an s24. I wonder if it's triggered some bad settings that were migrated over.

Happens about 10-20% of the time I open the browser.
