I'm writing to express concern regarding the recent One UI 7 update on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which appears to have discontinued support for the Samsung DeX Windows application. As a dedicated user of Samsung devices, I’ve come to rely heavily on the DeX Windows app to extend my productivity. The ability to connect my Galaxy S24 Ultra to a PC and launch a desktop-like interface has been invaluable for multitasking, presentations, remote work, and overall workflow efficiency. Losing this functionality in One UI 7 feels like a significant setback, especially for users who depend on a seamless mobile-to-PC transition without needing a dedicated monitor or dock. The DeX Windows app provided convenience and flexibility that’s difficult to replace. I kindly urge the Samsung development team to reconsider the removal of this support and explore options to reintegrate or improve DeX functionality on Windows in future updates.
