After file is moved to secure folder from the gallery app, the thumbnail of the moved file still shows in the gallery. It is only gone if the file is manually deleted. Strangely, if deleted the moved file it does not go to trash.

Anyone else facing this issue?

I have tried clearing cache from app and recovery. Not solved.

BTW, I have sent feedback via Members App.

Sounds like a glitch my S25U moving a file from the Gallery to the secure folder it instantly disappears from my Gallery.  I would wait for feedback from the feedback you sent.

Indeed it is a glitch. It's happening since the update to One UI8.

So far, I haven't encountered this glitch. Since you've already cleared the cache, the next step would be to test it in Safe Mode. If the issue persists, back up your device and perform a factory reset to see if that resolves the problem.

I can't do a Factory reset as this phone is the daily driver.

Also, during safe mode, Secure Folder is inaccessible.

Since you can't do a reset you would have to wait for feedback to see what the techs say.

Is it a photo you edited?  The unedited photo is  usually saved as a shadow in case you want to revert to the original.  You can work around it by cutting and pasting into the secure folder rather than using the "move to secure folder" option.

It takes no more than 10 minutes to reset and restore your phone, so it shouldn't affect your daily activities.  In your case, though, you might want to make a complete Smart Switch backup first to the temporary cloud storage to make sure that any personal data not contained in the automatic backup gets restored.

The photo is not edited and it happens for all photos regardless of being edited or not.
