Received an error message saying "something foreign inside the charging slot"?

Hi Guys! I have a little issue with my charging slot, this happened a few days ago; I been in the beach so I took a few pictures, after that I tried to charge, when suddenly appeared a message that said a something foreign inside the slot. If someone had the same issue please let me know. I'm charging with a wireless but is to slow. I need some help please thanks.

You can buy a charger port cleaning kit. But don't put anything metal in there.

Just my 2 cents you mentioned being at the beach so thinking sand got in the port most likely culprit you will need to clean the port

Hi,

The charging slot may have some issue such as

- Loose Connection

- Dust Inside the Port

- Charging Only at certain angles

- Water Damage

- Dead Charging port

Hi! I checked already inside the slot with a flashlight, but looks clean; so I need to fix this issue when arrive at home, thanks.

I had that happen to me in Florida. I brought a can of spray air and cleaned the port of the phone and the charger in case some transferred to the charger. Then it told me it was wet, so I took a hair dryer on cool setting and dried it out. It fixed the problem

Hi Deebs15! I did, use the hair blower for 45 minutes but nothing happens, when arrive to home (Illinois) I trying to go to samsung store to fix this issue, but thanks for your advice any way.
