Galaxy S24๐จ Attention Galaxy Community ๐จ
As a long-time Galaxy user, I want to share some concerns many of us feel:
- The S23, S24, and S25 run different kernel versions (5.15, 6.1, 6.6) despite all having long-term support, raising issues with optimization, efficiency, and transparency.
- With the S26, some new AI features may not reach older devices like the S24 or S25, even though their hardware can handle them.
- For cameras, sensors like the 200MP used since the S22 get improvements in newer models, but older devices often donโt, giving the impression of artificial limitations.
- While One UI 8.5 beta feels stable and polished, major updates are delayed, seemingly tied to new launches, affecting user trust.
๐ก What we need:
- Transparency in kernel and system updates
- Fair access to new features, especially AI
- Meaningful long-term performance improvements
- Consistent updates independent of new launches
If you agree that Samsung should be fair and transparent with its users, hit like ๐ and share your thoughts!

Not sure about kernal issue but the 200mp camera tends to be on ultra the ui updates tend to be in beta longer past few personally I would rather wait for a reliable version than a buggy one

Well, they should invest more in software development since hardware doesn't evolve much over the years.
