S24 not updating?!

Hi all. I bought an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S24 256gb from Amazon Renewed a few weeks ago. I thought all was going well until I realized I wasn't receiving any updates. I went to check for updates in the settings and got this:

"Your current software version isn't supported. Visit a service center. 

Update information • One UI version: 6.1 . Android version: 14 • Current version: S921USQS3AXFC / S921U1OYM4AYB3 / S921USQS3AXFC • Security patch level: July 1, 2024"

Any idea what's going on? How do I get my phone to update? The s24 is supposed to have another 6ish years of updates..

You can try to connect your Phone to a Computer and run Smartswitch on both to see if an Update will be forced to your device.  If no update is shown in Smartswitch you would need to contact your Carrier since they are the ones that push the update out or you could try contacting a Certified Repair Center to see if they could load the update for you.

there are no certified repair centers near me, it seems. No update is shown in SmartSwitch. 

Do I have to contact my carrier? Would they even help? I bought this phone off amazon renewed, not them.

Are you sure that Amazon sold you a phone built for use in the USA? An international version would be incompatible with the US update. You need to check the phone's model name in Settings > About phone and see if it's a domestic phone.

It doesn't say anything about being domestic/international? My phone's model number is SM-921U

Is there some way I can verify whether or not this is true? It worked with my tmobile sim out of the box.

Theres a imei checker to see if clear or blocked fir some reason if that made sense anyway what my thought was it could be locked still to the original user or perhaps and just a guess not paid off
