Galaxy S24My S24Fe replaced in November 2024 a Note 9 (which ws working perfetly).
The Samsung health app on the S24FE is totally inaccurate in step count and distance travelled etc. Previous phones including Note 9 were quit accurate.
With this phone i travell the same 5 km route daily as i have for the last 5 years and the step count and distance is wildly inaccurate.
When i look up Samsung Device care and follow the instructions----Clear app cache through Device care; settings>device care>storage>CLEAN NOW. there is not a CLEAN NOW.
Then clear cache memory of particular application; settings>apps>(cant find the app that I need to clear cache memeory) memory>storage >clear cache. DOESNT work/doesnt exist

Galaxy S24Note 9 was and still is a good phone.
S24FE was purchased from Optus on a promotion of a large discount, I thought my Note 9 had a problem (eventually found out it was not my Phone but the Tesla app) so the new phone had the same problem. Now fixed and an apology from Tesla. Fat lot of good that did me.
Now that i got this new S24Fe, phone within a few weeks the discounted price has become the latest price . So basically I was conned by my long time Optus provider. when I tried to buy the phone outright at the disounted price- no no no said optus you must start upa New account etc and over 36 months!!
At 80 years old I did not need a newer phone. I am not a Yuppie or "cost of living whinger" who always needs to have the very latest etc etc., but cant afford to have bread on the table so to speak.
Besides the old Note 9 battery lasts longer than this new phone, it has a pen that i write notes on, and has a 3.5mm jack for when my bluetooth headphones battery dies. ( I know i already have bought an adapter-Usb-c to 3.5mm socket)

Galaxy S24Dont be such a rude dude.
At least I have made something of my life by being considerate and helpfull to others.
If you cant contribute to something usefull go back to your cosmic ray and disappear.
